How to find us

By car – Sat nav: YO13 9QF

From the west – from M1 / Leeds / York direction follow the A64 east to Malton. Take the A169 north to Pickering, then the A170 east for just over 10 miles. We are set back on the left off the A170 down a private drive between the villages of Brompton-by-Sawdon and Ruston.

From the north – Whitby/ Redcar direction: follow the A171 south to Scarborough.

From the south – Bridlington / Hull direction: follow the A165 north to Scarborough.

From Scarborough – follow the A170 west towards Pickering for 8 miles. After passing through Wykeham, you will drive down a hill, and see the Wykeham Mature Plants sign to your left. The turn off for Gallows’ Hill private drive is 100 metres on the right.

By bus

We’re on the A170, just under a mile east of the village of Brompton-by-Sawdon. The bus stop in the village is served by the 128 and X28 day bus routes which run to Scarborough, Pickering and Helmsley. Take a look at the bus timetable.

By train

Our nearest station is Seamer, 6 miles away. From Seamer, you can take trains to Scarborough, Filey, Hull, Malton and York.

By taxi

We are 8 miles from the famous sea resort of Scarborough and just over 10 miles from the market town of Pickering. Local taxi services can be found online.
